It is our aim to stick to these fees for each element of work we undertake. We don’t know which elements of work will be required in advance of any litigation, as it could be that the debtor will pay their debt as soon as they receive the first letter from us, or at any time during the process of litigating.
It is possible in some cases that an element of work listed above will need to be undertaken more than once during the course of the litigation. If so it will be charged at the rate listed for each occurrence. The simplest example would be a remote conference, as we cannot be certain whether a conference will be necessary, or how many times. Each time any of the listed elements are necessary they will be charged.
The process of litigation follows a logical order, however when bringing a claim with Legalis Law you will always decide whether to proceed to the next part of the process or not. You will therefore be in a position to make a cost-benefit judgement about each element at the time, and based on all the information available then.
PRICES TO BE FIXED ON A LITIGATION BY LITIGATION BASIS
Whilst the prices on this page may be changed from time to time a similar set of prices will be included in the engagement letter for each litigation, and will apply to that litigation even after the prices shown on this page are updated.
